Welcome to the “Bible Ark” — Dale’s nickname for his Bible reading and study program. As Dale journeys to circle the Earth, he takes you with him on a journey through the Bible. It is a twofold journey. It is a journey that travels along with the 5-year “Thru the Bible” Bible study program, by Dr. J. Vernon McGee, also known as the “Bible Bus.” As Dale makes his journey around the Globe, each of his “Bible Ark” Bible studies coincides with each of Dr. McGee’s “Bible Bus” Bible studies.
Why two Bible studies?
Dale’s “Bible Ark” Bible studies provide detail that the “Bible Bus” studies do not supply. Dale’s studies are first and foremost a complete Bible reading. Every word of the Bible! In Dr. McGee’s “Bible Bus” Bible studies he does not read the entire Bible. In addition to the reading of the Bible, Dale reads and explains the Bible study notes of the Old Scofield Study Bible. The Old Scofield Study Bible, by Dr. Cyrus I. Scofield, is the Bible that Dr. McGee uses throughout his 5-year study of the Bible. During Dr. McGee’s 5-year study, he only touches on a small sampling of the notes that are included in the Old Scofield Study Bible. Hence, with Dale’s “Bible Ark” Bible study he reads every word of the Bible and he reads and explains every note in the Old Scofield Study Bible.
The “Bible Ark” studies are a companion to the “Bible Bus” Bible studies. They are not a replacement for, nor are they intended to be a rehash or a correction to Dr. McGee’s “Bible Bus” Bible studies. The “Bible Ark” is a supplement to the “Bible Bus,” providing an audio version of the Old Scofield Study Bible that Dr. McGee uses on the “Bible Bus.”
