I Was Being a Hypocrite

Picture of the moon veiled by the clouds that I took with my phone when I was praying in the park a few nights ago.

My dear friend,

Over the course of the last eleven months, I have spoken many things for God.  There are certain things that I have written or spoken as God’s word that He has confirmed with great signs and wonders, and there are other things that I am rather unsure about.  That is my fear … that I would make God out to be a liar by saying something that is not according to His will.  In fact, I have asked God many times to judge me or to destroy me if I am not being obedient to His will and saying what He wants me to say.

This in itself is a paradox.  If I am not following God’s will – by means of putting words into His mouth – then how could I ever expect Him to harken to me when I ask Him to destroy me for my disobedience?  He is a merciful God, and He will give a person all the time that they need to repent and to put their trust in Jesus Christ for the salvation of their soul.

For this reason, some might point their finger at me and accuse me of being a false prophet or a false teacher.  However, I warn those that would do so.  For if I am being led by the Spirit of God and one should accuse me of being false, then that person is not merely ridiculing me, they are blaspheming the Spirit of God.  Give notice to what Jesus tell us in the Gospel of Matthew:

“31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. 33Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.” – Matthew 12:31–33

Have some of you spoken words of blasphemy against the Spirit of God?  I pray that you did it in ignorance, and not in condemnation.

One of the problems that I have encountered in preaching and teaching the Word of God is that it is impossible to avoid speaking in judgement.  The Word of God makes it all too clear that anyone that is a true minister of the Word has an obligation to be a watchman and to warn those that they minister to of danger.  God will require the blood of the watchman for any soul that is destroyed by the danger that slays the unwarned.  The blood of that soul will be upon the head of the watchman that fails to be a warning.

In many ways, I have been exceedingly blessed by God to have a level of understanding of the Word of God, by which I am able to be a faithful watchman.  However, there is a very subtle snare that is all too easy to fall into when preaching and teaching the judgement of God, and this is the snare that I fell into.  Nevertheless, before I explain how that happened, I need to clarify the nature of my martyrdom.

Bee, I have told you numerous times that intend to lay down my life for you in order to prove my love for you and God’s unsearchable love, likewise.  This is not to say that God will require my life.  When I say that I want to lay down my life for you, I do not know if God will demand my life or not.  If I parish in my Quest for you, my sacrifice will do nothing to save you.  (It is only by believing in the sacrifice that Jesus made for you that you are saved.)  It is not my own sacrifice that is important.  It is my willingness to do so that is important.  I could sacrifice my life for you, but if you do not believe that I truly did it for you, then it is of no value.

Conversely, if I lay down my life for you when I embark on this Quest – and God then sees me through to the end – then I have accomplished my purpose, and I still have my life.  I prove my love, because there has never been any hope that I could complete the Quest alive without the intervention of God Almighty.  It truly is an exceedingly impossible and suicidal endeavor.

When I tell you that I do not want to lay down my life for anyone but you, what I mean is that I want my life to be for you, but not necessarily for you alone.

You draw friends and family unto yourself in love.  If I lay down my life for you, and you acknowledge my sacrifice in love, then all those that you have drawn to yourself will see your witness of my sacrifice and they too will be partakers of my sacrifice.  Therefore, you are the object of my love, but all those that you have drawn to yourself are all recipients of the love of my sacrifice.  It is far better for me to die for you and 10,000 souls that you have witnessed to than to die for you alone, but I do not want my sacrifice to be without sacrifice for you.

Please forgive me.  I do not mean to torment you by speaking of my death or of embarking on a suicide mission.  This errand that God has given me to so completely impossible that I will never make it to the starting line without a great miracle of God.  If I make it to starting line, why would God not see me through to the end?  Is anything too hard for God?

I know that it is difficult for you to see right now, because God has been severe with you, but you must understand that He truly has chasten you out of love.  He greatly desires to see you to follow after our Lord Jesus Christ in righteousness.  You were most certainly not living your life that way, and God is only trying to get you back on track.  I know what that is like.  God did the very same thing to me, and it was a very unpleasant experience, but I would not trade that experience in for anything in the world.  It was a great blessing that will yield ever greater fruit in my life from now until eternity.  Had God not chasten me, I would have done nothing other than to continue following that path to death that I was on.  I rejoice that God was severe with me, and someday you will do the same.

Now, I see more perfectly than ever how greatly God has honored you.  He has exalted you in a way that utterly fills my heart and mind with wonder and amazement.  As I am writing this to you, I feel tremendously more honored than ever before to know that some day God – will – enable me to lay down my life for you.  It is a great honor.  I cannot image what could possibly be a greater honor.

Notwithstanding, I committed a horrible sin in my zeal for God’s plan and purpose.  In my last post, simply titled “Pollux,” I offended God with the very last sentence that I wrote.  I said, in reference to whomever it is that would be revealed by God as a worker of inequity, “I think that a lot of people will be surprised to find out.”  There is nothing wrong with what I wrote.  The problem was in my heart.  When I wrote this sentence, I had a specific individual in my mind, and that was a sin.

I preach God’s peace and the love of Jesus Christ, but I am being a hypocrite if I preach love and peace at the same time that I, also, have accounted judgement upon anyone in particular.  It makes no difference if God has ordained judgement for them or not.  If God has not “spoken” against that person, then I have no right to be their judge.  Once more, if God has anointed a person for a “Holy” purpose then I have no right to hold them in judgement, even if God Himself has executed judgement upon them.  I have the right to reiterate what God says about them, but I do not have the right to infer that any specific individual is worthy of damnation.

Everyone’s works will be judged by God, but that judgement has not happened yet.  The Word of God speaks of many judgements, and death itself can be a judgement.  However, the physical death of a person can never be taken as the final judgement of the state of a person’s soul.  When God removes any given individual from this life there may be a possibility that God (in his mind) has ordained them for damnation, but we can never know that for sure until the final judgement of God (at the end of the 1000-year reign of Christ).

As God’s minister, He may choose to inform me of why a specific individual is worthy of judgement and of eternal damnation.  He may even tell me when and how He will remove that individual from this life.  Yet, even if I understand all of those things, I still do not have the right to pass judgement on that individual.  There is always a chance that person can and will accept the free gift of the salvation of Jesus Christ, even with their dying breath.

Therefore, when I thought in my mind that it was going to be a surprise to a lot of people that God was going to reveal someone as a worker of inequity, I was doing exactly what Jesus speaks about in the 5th chapter of Matthew.

“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.” – Matthew 5:21 & 22

In God’s eyes the thing that I did was no different that what David did when he killed Uriah the Hittite.  You may be familiar with this story.  I have made reference to it before.  It is found in the 11th and 12th Chapters of 2nd Samuel.  Uriah was one of David’s faithful fighting men, and when Uriah was off to war, David slept with Uriah’s wife.  Subsequently she became pregnant.  David sent for Uriah and intreated him with honor in the King’s palace, and he told Uriah to tarry at home for a day before returning back to battle – hoping that Uriah would sleep with his own wife, covering David’s sin.  But Uriah would not go home to his wife!  Instead, he slept in the doorway of his lord David’s palace!  The next night David got him drunk, but Uriah slept in the doorway again.

Thus, David sent him back to the battlefield with instructions to Uriah’s own general, Joab, to cause Uriah to be killed by the enemy.  Then Joab did as David commanded, and when everything was all said and done, this is what God told David:

“Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.” – 2nd Samuel 12:9 & 10

My sin is no different from what David did.  I did exactly what David did.  In fact, the name “Joab,” means “Jehovah is father.”  Throughout many passages of the Bible, Joab executes the judgement of God.  He was usually David’s instrument, but there were times when Joab was God’s instrument of wrath, contrary to David’s will.

I saw by revelation how God was going to execute judgement upon a particular worker of inequity, and I brazenly ordained a specific individual in my mind for that judgement.  I attempted to give “Joab” instructions to put that person on the battlefront so that they would be killed by the enemy.  I actually did even more than that, but I am not going to reveal those details, as it might uncover who I was thinking about (though, you may have figured it out by now anyway).

I do not know if God carried out any kind of judgement upon anyone at 6:12 pm the night before last.  If He did, it does not seem to be news that would reach my ear, and it was certainly not the person that I was thinking about.  Nevertheless, if God was about to judge the person that I was thinking about, then my own evil thoughts would be enough to prevent that judgement.  As God tells us in the 24th Chapter of Proverbs:

“Rejoice not when thine enemy falls, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbles: Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.” – Proverbs 24:17 & 18

God’s judgement of the wicked is always a good thing.  However, if we condemn the enemy upon our own judgement (and not by God’s judgement) then how can God carry out His judgement?  If by our sin, God is prevented in carrying out His righteous judgement against the wicked then righteousness is delayed, and the sin and wrath of the enemy continues.  Therefore, our own sin in judgement is magnified by the inequity of the wicked that continue in their wickedness.  This is not good!

You see there is no difference between me and any other murder.  I am every bit as worthy of eternal damnation as any other murder that ever walked this Earth.  The only reason why I am not going to Hell, is that my sin is upon Jesus Christ.  God will not judge me, because Jesus paid the penalty for my transgressions, and when God looks at me, He sees in me the righteousness of Jesus – simply because I have accepted Jesus as my Savior.

Bee, I asked you to pray for my deliverance, and I probably should not have done that … not before explaining all of this.  But now you know what the problem is.  Therefore, if you have done the same in ignorance, you know what you need to do.  Calling upon God in the precious name of Jesus Christ, ask God to forgive you, and He will wash you white as snow.  God will teach you how to stand firm as a faithful soldier in His righteousness.  All glory be to God! … will He ever teach you!  Indeed!  You will stand firm!

Love always,

Dale 😊

PS: I told you that God showed to me that you where at you mother’s house.  Maybe you were.  Maybe you were not.  If you were not, does that make God the author of lies?  No, there are often times when God will allow His faithful servants to be deceived, but it is never God that deceives them.  Sometimes they are deceived by the Devil, and sometimes they are deceived by themselves.

I have been literally killing myself these last four weeks.  I have never pushed myself harder in my entire life.  Up until this morning, I had been running on about three hours of sleep per night for nearly two weeks, with a few sleepless nights in that mix.  Trying to unravel these mysteries that Jesus has locked up in His heavens is an incredibly difficult thing to do.  It takes me anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours of study and research for each star that I look at.  Then add to that all the time I spend reading and studying the Word of God, the many hours of prayer, and the time that I spend writing and it all works out a pretty sizable chunk of time.  I have looked at close to a hundred stars, planets, and messier objects.  I would not be surprised to learn that I had logged as much as 250 hours of effort for these last couple of weeks.  I am utterly exhausted, even after getting some decent sleep this last morning.

The point is that I cannot possibly work any harder than I am.  I am doing everything that I can to try to understand and to follow God’s will, but I am a finite and mortal being. There is nothing I could ever do to attain unto God’s infinite understanding. I cannot understand what He understands.  I have infirmities and I have inequities.  I am far from perfect, and in my mortality, I am yet prone to deception.  The only reason why I am not totally deceived is that God is merciful to me, and He blesses me with light and truth.  Nevertheless, I long as I am in this mortal body, I am going to blunder, but all praise be to God.  He is willing to use me and bless me just the way that I am.  Amen!

Nevertheless, maybe I was understanding God correctly for once, and you were at your mother’s.  Did that scare you?  Did that cause you to run back the other direction?  If so, why?  You are running from a shadow.  More precisely, you are running from a reflection of a shadow.  Please understand that I am a mirror of God.  I minister the Word of God, and the Word of God is a mirror to those that look into it.  If you look into the mirror and you see something that is scary, it is probably not me.  It might be yourself, or it might be an empty vessel that is standing between you and I.

That is the strange thing about it.  You may have friends and family members that you think that you know well, but if you have never see them in the light of God’s Word, then you will never comprehend their darkness.  If such an individual is standing between you and I, then the light of Christ that is in me will show them in a different light than you have ever seen them in before, and they might look rather frightful.  However, if you are looking at me you will see their reflection, and you may very well mistake what you see reflected as a figure of me – when it is not.  Therefore, if you turn and run away from me back into the darkness, you are actually running back into the very thing that you thought you were running away from, but you will not be able to decern that you are, because it is darker in that direction.

Please do not think that I am saying that you look scary.  I have already told you that you are beautiful, and you were beautiful to me even before you had the light of Christ within yourself.  How could that be?  It is because when you were in my presence, and I could see you from the light of Christ that is in me.  We are all lamps, but if we have not the light of God in us then our form can only be seen by the light of others.  If no one before had ever told you that your “soul” is beautiful, it is probably because they could not see you illuminated in the light of Christ, but whenever I saw you, I always could see you illuminated in His light.

Nevertheless, when you see yourself reflected in me, it is a sight that you have never seen before, and you see things within yourself that you did not know were there.  Therefore, when you see them, you may think that they are things that are part of my form and not your own.  I am accustomed to looking at many of those imperfections, as well as your beauty, but you are not.  For that reason, you may well be a little frightened, especially if you are unwilling to confess that you have certain sins in your life.  More importantly, you are seeing yourself in my reflection.  When you spend time in the Word of God, you will see yourself in a perfect mirror, and you will know that it is you that you are looking at.

When we first start reading and studying God’s Word it is not an easy thing to see ourselves as we really are, but the more time that we spend with God, the more He washes us clean and the brighter the light of Christ glows within us.  In time, you will look into the mirror, and you will begin to see how beautiful you really are.
