Isaac

Rebecca et Eliézer, Alexandre Cabanel, 1883

My dear friend,

It is now the 16th of January, as I begin writing this epistle to you.  I had an amazing day yesterday.  I am not so sure that you are going to believe me when I say this, but I am convinced that it was the best day of my life.  In the morning, God showed to me another fantastic alignment of the stars, and this was after He had shown me two other eye-opening alignments the night before.

Perhaps you had a balcony or a nice window that you were able to look out toward the east and see the sun rise.  About twenty minutes after the sun rose there were seven different stars sitting on the horizon.  There were four stars on the eastern horizon and three on the western.  Also, just between the sun and the horizon was the planet Pluto.  In addition to all of this there was the constellation Corona Australis sitting on the eastern horizon with the sun and these other four stars.

When I first looked at it, I was quite intrigued.  It took me quite a while to figure out the meaning of all these different stars, but once I had if figured out, I was completely stunned.  God was telling me that the moment that I have been hoping for these last three years had finally come to pass.

I am not going to explain what the names of these stars mean.  I am simply going to list them out here, and if you open up the Planetarium app on theskylive.com and plug in your location on the morning of the 15th of January (twenty minutes after sunrise), you will see the same alignment that I have described here.  Eastern horizon (from north to south): Delta Cassiopeiae, Beta Capricorni, Corona Australis (constellation), Gamma Arae, and Eta Arae.  Western horizon (from south to north): Gamma Crucis, Castor, and Pollux.  That was the thing that really blew me away.  Castor and Pollux were sitting right on the horizon together in perfect alignment!  It was crazy astonishing just to see that alone.

Along with this post I have also uploaded a table that lists all these stars and a few more. (View the table here.)  You can look them up in the table, then you will be able to see for yourself what the meanings of these stars are, and then you will be able to determine if I was hearing God correctly or not.  Additionally, you will want to scroll down to my “PS” at the bottom of this epistle to see my explanation on Castor and Pollux.  That should help you understand why those two stars appear in this alignment.

Maybe I do not need to tell you this, but when I realized what God was telling me, I cried the most wonderful tears of joy.  There is no possible way that I can describe how happy I am for you, my dear friend.  This might seem just a bit of an overreaction to you right now, but in time when you have the same experience, you will understand why I feel the way that I do.

Nevertheless, God had showed all of this to me with pictures, graphics, and language on my computer.  It was wonderful, but the problem is that I was missing you!  It is not like my heart could fully rejoice, when I could not see the emotion on our face.  However, God did compensate! Amen!

Later in the afternoon, I hopped into my car to drive the food Coop downtown, but I decided to stop at the park and pray for a little while, before heading out.  After God had shown me this incredible celestial and spiritual event, I prayed that He would make it real in my heart so that I understood correctly.  He answered my prayer.

I was sitting on the park bench, and I was marveling over the things that He had shown to me.  I was really quite stunned.  I praised Him and I thanked Him that He would be so incredibly merciful to me that He would allow me and enable me to be a minister of the Word of God to you.  To me it is the greatest honor that anyone could ever have.

I told God that I did not want to be mistaken about the things that He had sown to me.  I wanted to be able to absolutely certain that I truly understood.  It was a little bit cloudy towards the east, for it had been foggy for most of the day.  As I was sitting there praying, the clouds were very slowly dissipating, and the very moment that I finished stating my request to God, the moon began to emerge out of the tops of the amber hued sunlit clouds!  It was absolutely beautiful!  The sight of the moon literally took my breath away.  No sooner had I formed the question, God had given me the answer in the twinkle of an eye.

This time … I really cried.

Fortunately, there was no one very close by, and I was able get all of the crying out of me and my cheeks dried off before anyone passed by.

So I sat there for a while longer, and then I asked God, “What do I do now?” “I know that you want me to write something, but I have no idea what it is that you want me to write.”  By then, it was getting rather late, and I was thinking that I needed to get going to the store.  Just then, on the other side of the park, there was an interesting family that had just stepped out of the front door of their house and began to take a walk, and that is when I met Isaac.

As the family descended down to the sidewalk in front of their house, a little boy and his younger brother began to tear out along the pathway into the park, making plenty of noise as his brother trailed along behind him.  A few brisk trots later his little brother had fallen behind, and his mother had almost managed to catch up with him.  However, the eldest continued to trot along at a substantial pace, hollering in glee the entire way.  He had the attention of everyone in park.  It was precious.

It did not take long for him to arrive at my park bench, as I was sitting there trying to continue with my prayer amidst his distracting antics.  As he passed by, I commented on the blazing pace that he was keeping up.  He said several things to me, but I could not understand a word that spoke to me.  Then he stopped, he looked around, and he realized that none of his family members were anywhere in the vicinity.  It was a beat before he spotted his grandfather on the backside of the looping pathway, after having walked across the grass to get there.  Hence, the little boy continued on.  He stopped at the drinking fountain along the way to take a drink, as he arched his neck up towards the sky in order to reach the spouting water stream above his head.  That really made me smile!

Next came his mother with his little brother, and after that came his grandmother with the dog.  They were all delightful.  I decided I had better get up and move along.  By then, there were quite a few people in the park.  There certainly was not any way that I could finish up my prayers with all that was going on.  As I was walking back to the car, the little boy decided to take another lap around the park.  He stopped at the water fountain again, and then he caught up to me just as I was about to turn down the other pathway towards my car.

He gave me a fist bump, but I still could not figure out what he was saying to me.  He was a hyper little dude.  Finally, I understood that he was asking me if I wanted to race!  LOL!  I said, “Do I want to race you?  Of course!  I would love to have a race with you!”  Then he said, “OK! Get set!”

Oh!  My goodness!  He was adorable!

So I got myself set! … striking the same pose that he was in!  He was pretty excited!  I thought to myself, this little boy could well be very much like David the king of Israel when he was a little boy.  He counted down, “One! … Two! … Three!”, and we took off.  I was a little bit surprised.  He was moving at a pretty good pace.  I teased him as we went along, telling him that he better kick it into gear, or else I was going to pass him up.  Then he really got encouraged, and as we got closer to his grandfather, he did kick it into another gear.  I was so easy to let him win the race, because he earnestly strived for the victory.

I really am not sure when it was the last time that I had that much fun, and I was very surprised to learn that Isaac is a redhead.  As I walked back to my car, I cried again!  I cannot explain why, but I was so completely overjoyed.  I just could not stop praising and thanking my Lord and my God.

It was not until later in the evening, that it dawned on me that the little boy’s name was Isaac.  I was stunned yet again.  “Isaac!”  There was no accident that his name was Isaac.  God was telling me what it was that He wanted me to write about for you, my dear friend.  God works in the most amazing and incredible ways imaginable!

So!  Let me tell you about Isaac … but please understand that what you are about to read is something that God was hiding from me when He told me to write about Isaac.  If there is anything about this message that you find surprising, you can be sure that it was surprising to me also.

The story of Isaac begins in the 17th Chapter of Genesis.  There is a lot to this story, and I would very much like to tell you all about it, but there is simply too much.  Hence, I am paring it down as much as I can for the purpose of this epistle.  However, I encourage you to listen to the Bible studies that Dr. McGee and myself have both recorded where we do tell the rest of this amazing story.  Those studies begin with: Bible Ark Program 0030 and they end with Bible Ark Program 0035 (which has not yet been published).  (I have already recorded and produced Program 0035, but in light of the events of the last couple of months, God has made it clear to me that I have some substantial editing to do.  Hence, it will require that I rerecord and reproduce both parts of the program.)  (The links for Dr. McGee’s studies are available on the Web pages for each of my Bible Ark studies.)

In all actuality, the story of Isaac goes back a bit further than that.  As you may know, Isaac was the miraculously born son that Abraham and Sarah had in their old age.  Abraham was 100 years old, and Sarah was 90 years old when she gave birth to Isaac.  For about the first sixty or seventy years of their marriage Sarah was barren, but when Abraham was in his late eighties, God promised Abraham that a son would be born unto him.  Then in their disbelief (or partial belief), Sarah figured that since she was barren that God must have meant that the son would be born by some other means.  Therefore, she gave Abraham her own maid, Hagar, to be his wife and to bear children by her, and Hagar gave birth to Ismael.

When Abraham was 99 years old the Lord appeared unto him and told him again that he was to have a son, and that Ishmael would not the heir.  What does God mean by that?  What does God mean that Ishmael would not be the heir?

God is talking about the kingdom of God.  Does this mean that none of the family and the line of Ishmael would ever partake of the kingdom of God?  Not at all!  In very short order the descendants of Ishmael began to intermarry with the Israelites.  Moreover, there have always been Jewish proselytes that have come from virtually every tribe on Earth.  Being in the line of inheritance or being out of the line of inheritance has no bearing on one’s citizenship in the kingdom of God.  Every person stands or falls based upon their own faith in Christ.

The inheritance that God is talking about pertains to the oracles of God and the godly line.  Often times, when the Bible speaks of inheritance, it referring to the line of descendants that lead to Jesus Christ, and of course, that includes some portion or all of the oracles of God.  However, there are many godly lines of inheritance that do not pertain to the line of descendants to the Christ.  With the tribe of Levi, the inheritance pertains to the service of the tabernacle, and there are many other examples that could become rather technical if I were to tell of them.  Nevertheless, there are always benefits and blessings that are connected with the various blessings.

Many of the blessings are not fully realized until Jesus returns and establishes the Kingdom here on Earth, and this is especially the case with the oracles of God.  They are a great blessing if the heirs are faithful to keep the charge of them.  It is a grand responsibility to care for the oracles, and the eternal blessings that God will reward to those that were trustworthy with their keeping with very special blessings.  However, those that prove themselves to be unfaithful, the recompences are more severe.

There are also physical blessings with the inheritance, but those physical blessings are not quite as important in the kingdom of God as they are now.  In the kingdom, everyone will have plenty, regardless of their family inheritance.  Therefore, the inheritance that Abraham’s son would receive was incalculable in its importance, and it also included an abundance of wealth, as Abraham was a mighty man of wealth and honor.

God was not going to allow the inheritance to be given to the son of the bond woman.  Thus, Abraham and Sarah had to come to this understanding, that the inheritance was a very important matter and that the heir of the promise must be a son of the free woman.  Fourteen years later, they were finally ready to have that child – Isaac, and when they were finally ready, God did not hesitate to perform an incredible miracle.  He took a woman whose womb had been dead for 70 years and healed her, so that she brought forth life, from the seed of a man that was 100 years old.

This is the first of many things about Isaac that is very Christ like.  Jesus was born unto a virgin, who was overshadowed by the Spirit of God.  Isaac was born unto a woman who was purified and made whole of the deadness of her womb, and the Spirit of God used a man that was nearly dead himself, who also was purified the year before in the God given rite of circumcision.  (The man in whom circumcision was originated.)  The birth of Isaac was fulfilled according to the prophetic word of God, as was the birth of Jesus, and Sarah was just as surprised to learn that she was going to give birth to a son as Mary was when she learned that she was going to give birth to a son, also.

In Isaac, God established a type of Christ, a model in miniature or an adumbration of the Messiah to come.  They were both given their names by God before they were conceived.  Both men were born according to a specific time set by God, and according to the promise of God.  Their births both brought exceeding joy to their fathers.  The name “Isaac” means “laughter,” the name given to him, because Abraham laughed with joy when God made the promise that he would have a son.  Then when Jesus was born, this is what God the Father said about Him:

“This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

– Matthew 3:17

Moreover, the offering of Isaac was modeled after the crucifixion of Christ in many remarkable ways.  After Isaac had grown but was still a young man, God instructed Abraham to offer up Isaac as a burnt sacrifice.  This was not only a test for Abraham, but it was also a test for Isaac.  It cannot be established by fact; however, there is a very suggestive indicator that when Isaac was offered as a sacrifice he was of the same age as Jesus at His crucifixion, 33 years old.

If you are not familiar with the story of when Abraham offered up Isaac as a sacrifice unto God, then you might think that Abraham killed his son.  This is not what happened.  God told Abraham to take Isaac up to the top of mount Moriah and offer up Isaac as a burnt sacrifice.  This mountain ridge of mount Moriah is the same ridge that Jesus was crucified upon, Calvary.

“And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.  And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.”

– Genesis 22:2–13

Notice how Isaac was obedient to his father, just as Jesus was obedient to His Father, even unto death.  Moreover, Abraham did not spare his own son, just as God the Father did not spare His own Son.  The ram that was caught in the thickets was a substitution for Isaac.

You see, God demands payment for our sins.  This was the cause for the sacrifice of Isaac.  It was Abraham’s payment for his own sin, but the problem was that Isaac was not a worthy sacrifice.  He was not pure.  Had Abraham actually followed through with the sacrifice and burned Isaac on the alter, God would not have found it to be an acceptable payment for Abraham’s sin, which means that Isaac could neither pay for his own sin.  Isaac was not perfect.  His death, his sacrifice could not pay for anyone’s sin.  This is why God provided a ram.  The ram was not a worthy sacrifice either, but it pointed to the one that would come, Jesus Christ.  The ram pointed to the one that would be a worthy sacrifice for Abraham’s sin, and not his only but for all the world, past, present, and future.

We could dwell on a few other interesting parallels between the sacrifice of Isaac and of Jesus, but those details are better to be understood by the Bible studies that I mentioned.  However, before we move on, I would like to point out a few things about this passage of scripture that I find to be most amazing.

Notice that Abraham saddled up his ass, but none did ride upon the ass. The wood for the offering was put upon the ass. As the Gospel writers tell us, Jesus did ride upon a colt, the foal of an ass, in His first entrance into the city of Jerusalem, at the time of His death. Jesus was crucified on a cross … on a tree (as it is said). Abraham put the wood (the tree) upon the ass and brought the ass to the base of the mountain ridge. The base of Mount Moriah is where the city of Jerusalem had been built in days of Jesus’ crucifixion, and thus it remains to this day.

Therefore, Abraham’s ass carried the means of the sacrifice into what is now the city of Jerusalem. The colt that had never been ridden carried the means of our salvation into Jerusalem just before Jesus was crucified on the tree. Wow!

Moreover, notice that Abraham brought two of his young men to help him as he prepared for the sacrifice of Isaac. Notice, also, that none of the Gospels tell us who those two disciples were that retrieved the colt that Jesus rode upon into Jerusalem.  (Refer to Matthew Chapter 21, Mark Chapter 11, Luke Chapter 19, and John Chapter 12 for the Gospel accounts of when Jesus rode into Jerusalem upon the ass colt.  The prophecies pointing to this procession upon the colt can be found in Zechariah 9:9, Genesis 49:11, and of course, this passage that we just looked at.)  This act that Jesus performed is often called “The Triumphal Entry,” but it really is not.  Jesus was offering Himself as their Messiah, and then rejected Him.  The real “Triumphal Entry” will happen with His second coming at the end of the Great Tribulation.

There is so much more to say about Isaac, and many of these things I would love to tell you about right now.  Nonetheless, we cannot talk about Isaac without speaking of Rebecca.  Isaac would not be Isaac without her.  Just as Jesus is not Jesus without the inheritance, Isaac is not Isaac without his inheritance.  This is where people get confused.  The gaining of wealth, riches, and possessions is not the true inheritance.  All of these things are completely worthless without love, and love is impossible without a family of some kind.

Jesus descended from Heaven and took upon Himself the likeness of man, so that He could have a bride.  This is His inheritance from God the Father, the Church, the Bride of Christ.  But!  Christ is the inheritance of the Church.  How are they an inheritance for each other?  Is it their family.  Christ and His Bride are going to have an exceedingly great and endlessly growing family.

This is the same thing that happened to Isaac.  Isaac willingly gave himself to his father Abraham to be sacrificed on the altar, and after he did so, his father gave him a bride, Rebecca.  Hence, just as Isaac serves as a type for Christ, Rebecca serves as a type for the Bride of Christ.  To say that Rebecca is remarkable is a complete understatement.

Let us look at how remarkable she was.  I so much wish that I could tell the whole story, but it is 67 verses long, so I am going to leave out a few points.

“And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.”

– Genesis 24:2–4

“And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; … and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water.

And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.

And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder. And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.

And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink. And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking. And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.

And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not. And …, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring …, and two bracelets for her hands … of gold; And said, Whose daughter art thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father’s house for us to lodge in?

And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel …, which she bare unto Nahor. She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in.

And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren.

And the damsel ran, and told them of her mother’s house these things.”

– Genesis 24:10–30

At this point, Rebecca’s brother Laban, invites Abraham’s servant into the house and provides everything for him including a well-furnished meal for him and his company as guests among Laban’s household.

“And there was set meat before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on.

And he said, I am Abraham’s servant. And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses. And Sarah my master’s wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath.

And my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell: But thou shalt go unto my father’s house, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son.”

– Genesis 24:33–38

From here Abraham’s servant retells how he prayed to God at the well, and how Rebecca immediately responded to his presence and his words in the exact manner that he prayed to God would happen.  We pick backup as he describes how he worshipped God after Rebecca had watered his camels at the well.

“And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter unto his son.

And now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may turn to the right hand, or to the left.

Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, The thing proceeds from the LORD: we cannot speak unto thee bad or good. Behold, Rebekah is before thee, take her, and go, and let her be thy master’s son’s wife, as the LORD hath spoken.

And it came to pass, that, when Abraham’s servant heard their words, he worshipped the LORD, bowing himself to the earth. And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave them to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things.

And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master.”

– Genesis 24:48–54

They were reluctant and wanted her to tarry with them for 10 days.

“And they said, We will call the damsel, and enquire at her mouth.

And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, Wilt thou go with this man? And she said, I will go.

And they sent away Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abraham’s servant, and his men. And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.

And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way.”

– Genesis 24:57–61

This to me is incredible!  She really did not know much of anything about Isaac, but she made up her own mind and decided to follow the man and become Isaac’s wife.  She left the comfort of her family for the inheritance of God, with only a shadowy understanding what it really meant.  The only thing that she really knew about Isaac, is that he loved God enough to sacrifice his own life.

“And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahairoi; for he dwelt in the south country. And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming.

And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel. For she had said unto the servant, What man is this that is walking in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself.

And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done. And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her …”

– Genesis 24:62–67
Rebecca is the mother of Israel.  She is the mother of Jacob, to whom God changed his name to Israel.  Rebecca is the mother of the Jews.

She is also the mother of Esau.  Esau and Jacob were twins, but Esau was born first.  The birthright belonged to Esau, but Esau despised the inheritance, and he sold it to his brother for a bowl of lentil stew!

Interestingly, God did not say anything against Esau for 1400 years, then in the last book of the Old Testament, God said:

“… Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.”

– Malachi 1:2 & 3

Those that despise God’s heritage in favor of the heritage of the world are setting themselves up for destruction.  We do not know how old Esau was when he died, but we know that he lived long enough to have at least five children and a very great household.  Therefore, God blessed Esau and He had great mercy upon him, despite the fact that He hated Esau for despising his birthright.  God gave Esau all the time that he needed to repent, but he never did.

Yet Jacob, who was the rascal and obtained both the birthright and the blessing of his father through deception, was the one that God gave the inheritance to.  He is the father of God’s chosen people, and Isaac and Rebecca are his parents.

When God created Adam, he had one more rib than you and I, and when Adam could no longer forebear without a help meet (an equal companion … that is, not the same but a complement to his spirit) God took that rib out of his side and created Eve.

My question is this, “Where did Eve’s spirit come from?”
Did it come with the rib out from Adam? Or did God put the spirit into the rib after he pulled it out of Adam?

If He put it in after, then that means that the rib was dead.  If the rib was dead, then what is the significance of pulling the rib out of Adam?  It would not be any different than making her out of the dust of the Earth, just like He did with Adam.

I think we can answer that question by looking at the Bride of Christ.  The Church of Christ is the body of Christ.

“What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

– 1st Corinthians 6:16-20

When we put our trust in Christ and are baptized by the Spirit of God, we are sealed into the body of Christ.  Then when we are raised up by Jesus Christ in the rapture of the Church, we are given a new physical body that is perfect and free of the infirmity of the old nature that now dwells within us.  Our new nature, that has been formed in us by the indwelling of the Spirit of God, will be free from these old bodies and minds that we now have.  That old sinful heart will be gone, but the renewed spirit that we have even now will live on, yet in a new body without sin.

If Eve obtained her spirit from the rib that was taken from Adam, that would mean that Adam was created with a devisable spirit, and the half that became Eve’s spirit was created specifically for her.

What is God showing us here?

We need to go to Isaac and Rebecca to see the answer.  When God the Father brings and man and a woman together and joins them as husband and wife, what He is doing is joining together two parts of a whole.  He is taking two spirits that were created to be together and joining them as they should be joined.  They are made to be together.  What purpose can they serve if they are apart?

“So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”

– Ephesians 5:28–32

(Please understand that the Apostle Paul is “not” speaking to unbelievers in this passage.  A man and a woman can only have this kind of relationship if they are both in love with Jesus.  If either one of them is not a Spirit filled believer in Christ, then this kind of a relationship is not possible.)

As I said before, the name “Isaac” means laughter.  It is this special union that God gave to Isaac and Rebecca that gives Him so much joy.

The name Rebecca is interpreted by many to mean “a noose.”  That is not it at all!  This is what the name means:

“… for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.”

– Jeremiah 31:22
Who is Isaac without Rebecca?  No one!

PS: Later on, I looked at the planetarium app again, and I found that this alignment of the sun, moon, and stars on the horizon was an event that was spread out over a few days, with the exception of Pluto.  On all the other days, Pluto is off to one side of the sun or the other.  It was only on the morning of the 15th that it was directly below the Sun, and that was the thing that drew my attention to the alignment in the first place.  With each of the other days, the timing of the alignment is shifted a few minutes before or after the time on the 15th, whether before or after that day.  Perhaps what this means is that the event I was so happy about continued in some fashion or another for those few days.  I have no idea.  All that I know is that God called my attention to that one day for a specific reason.

Late on the 17th, I had a completely different experience.  The day before, I prayed to the Lord that He would touch your heart in a special way on my behalf, so that you would know that it was from me.  All that I asked Him to do was to give you just a simple little gesture to touch your heart.  I was hoping that He would somehow let me know that you had received it, but it seems that He delivered a little bigger package than I ever would have expected.  It is now 3:00 am on the 18th, and I am still stunned and awestruck.

It is now 1:21 am on the 19th.  God has led me to a deeper understanding of what happened on the night of the 17th.  He had me go back and look at the alignment of the moon and the stars during this little interlude.  Before I describe what it was that He showed to me, let me just say that I can still feel the dried tears on my cheeks.  I cannot understand why He would be so incredibly gracious.  I am moved beyond words.  It is inconceivable to me as to how He even makes these things possible.  Let me explain.

First, I need to explain something about Castor and Pollux.  As I have said in previous posts, Castor and Pollux represent the two anti-Christs in the book of Revelation.  However, God showed me something very amazing about these stars yesterday and today.  These two stars will remain in the sky after both of the anti-Christs are thrown into the lake of fire.  The planet Jupiter will also remain in the sky.  The reason why is that they all three are deceptions of the truth.  Jupiter is Satan’s attempt to show himself as God, and Castor and Pollux are the illusion of the two anti-Christs.  However, after Castor and Pollux have been thrown into the lake of fire, they will be gone, and the whole world will see the two true witnesses that go before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ continually and eternally.  At that point, these two stars are no longer illusions and corruptions of the truth.  They are the two true witnesses of God.  I am pretty certain that Jesus will then reveal the true names of these two stars (along with many others) when He returns.  Jupiter will remain, because Satan is bound up in prison for those 1000 years of the millennial reign of Christ.  After that, Jesus will create a new heaven and a new Earth.  Will Jupiter remain after that?  I have no idea.

If you open up the planetarium app and plug in your location for the night of the 17th, you should be able to see the following alignments, with the closest approximate times that I could determine:

  • 9:03 pm: Beta Geminorum (Pollux), the moon, and M44 (the Beehive cluster)
  • 10:21 pm: Alpha Aurigae (Capella), Alpha Geminorum (Castor), and the moon
  • 12:21 am: Castor, the moon, and Delta Cancri (Asellus Australis)
  • 3:00 am: Castor, the moon, and M44

I took off my shoes, I got down on my knees, with my face to the ground, and I trembled and did not say a word for a good long while.  I feel so completely unworthy … unworthy of God and unworthy of you.  I feel like the smallest speck of dust on the smallest speck of dust in His presence, and to see how you are exalted in God’s eyes makes me feel nearly as small in your eyes.  I do not understand how God can be so merciful!  Who am I that He would even take knowledge of me?  How is it that He can love us with such an extraordinary love?  What can I possibly say to Him?  What praise or thanks can I give to Him that is worthy of anything in His eyes?  Yet I am who I am by His grace and mercy alone.  Do I have faith to believe?  That is the question.  At some point – after I realize that I will never be able to adequately praise and thank Him – I need to kiss His feet and get up off the floor and get to work.  This is how we show our love to Him.  We yield ourselves to Him in obedience, and He will always show us how He wants us to witness our praise and worship of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, our Creator.  And He will always bless us with even greater love, as He teaches us how to love those around us and those that He loves.

(Just a note: It can sometimes be a little tricky to get things to appear on the screen correctly with some of these alignments.  The closer that objects are displayed in the corners the more warpage of the dimensions of space that there is.  I find that often times I need to pan and rotate the view so that the alignment is oriented vertically or horizontally, as well as, being centered in the screen as much as possible.  Additionally, there is almost always a bow in space, because the alignments tend to be radial from our perspective here on the surface of the Earth.  Therefore, what you see on the screen is not always quite what you will see in the sky.  The greater the distance of the span of the alignment the greater the potential for this difference between the screen and the sky.  Also, the smaller the screen the more warpage in the corners you will experience.)

Over the course of the last few days, there have been several more incredible spectacles in the heavens above your head.  There are too many for me to be able to describe.

However, there was one this morning (January the 21st) that was especially amazing.

It occurred at 5:42 am.  In this alignment, the constellation Gemini is standing on the western horizon.  It looks like Pollux is leading Castor towards the constellation Cancer.  As they are heading that direction, Hydra, Leo, and Ursa Major are all three getting ready to pounce upon them before they make it to Cancer.  I am not going to update the table with the four stars that form the feet of Gemini.  I do not think that it is important for this alignment; however, there is another star on the western horizon that ties in with this alignment, Rho Puppis.  Moreover, there are two stars on the eastern horizon that are also part of the alignment, Gamma Sagittarii and Alpha Centauri.

Then there is another alignment tonight that must be related somehow to the one that happened this morning.  It will take place at 9:42 pm.  You will see Ursa Major and Leo standing on end so that their tails are on the eastern horizon.  In between the two tails you will see the constellation Canes Venatici standing upright, as well.  All three of these are in alignment with the moon just above the horizon.  To the left there are two more stars on the horizon from the constellation Draco, Eta Draconis and Iota Draconis.  On the western horizon is the planet Neptune, and on the southern horizon is the star Beta Doradus.

What is God up to?  How is it that He is putting on such spectacular show for you?  Certainly, if you traveled east or west at the correct angle, these alignments would hold together for some distance, but then the times would be different, and most of all, the alignment of the moon would become less perfect.  Where else in the entire world could this happen but where you are right now?

Now, if you open up the planetarium app and plug in your location and these times and you do not get the results that I am seeing, then it must be that you are not where I think you are.  If that is the case, then God must not be speaking to me the way that I trust that He is.  Yet if you do see what I see, then God is telling me where you are, He is showing you and I something that is extraordinary beyond all description, and the timing of these alignments must mean something.  Why else would He manipulate so many celestial bodies in space and so many events here on Earth to make these things possible, if He was not going to do something commensurate with the signs in the skies?

Nevertheless, I do have a confession.  I once told you to make sure that you pray for the understanding of the truth every time you read or study the Bible.  I have not been paying heed to my own council.  As I said, the names and the arrangements of the stars in heaven are God’s Word written in the sky.  Unfortunately, I have not been consistently praying before I work on the study and the interpretation of the stars.  Therefore, I am fairly certain that I have misinterpreted far too many of the things that I have seen.  Hopefully, going forward, I will be much more careful to speak only what God actually says and not what I think He has said, simply because I was not diligent to pray for understanding.

  1. I do not understand why I am typing up this note to you right now, Bee. I am so tired I cannot even remember how to spell the word “tired.” I pulled another all nighter in order to get this post published before the last alignment that I talked about, but now it seems that you may not have been there to witness it. I am not talking about seeing it with your eyes. It is your presence in a certain location that appears to be the key to all of this. God is the one that is following you around, not me.

I mean … I really do not want to ruffle your feathers any more than I have to, but all these gyrations that you go through to hide from me is pure insanity! Seriously! As I said before, you are running from a shadow. I am not going to drive down to “catch a glimpse” of you, just because God showed me where you are.

I would much rather that you had stayed where you where a little longer; because, by the things that God has show to us here (as I described in this post), it looks like you would have had the lion and the bear by the tail. Maybe, you where still there (or somewhere still fairly close) when the alignment occurred. I just don’t know. God only gives me little glimpses, but when He does give me a clue, it is usually a very good clue. That does not mean that I am always going to understand it properly, but His information is never wrong.

Would I like to see you? Yes! … but not when you are still so caught up in paranoia. It is not necessarily a bad thing to be a bit paranoid, but in all truth and soberness, there are real dangers that you are ignoring. Why are you spending so much energy hiding from a shrew?

Bee, I need help! … LOL … and not in that “way!” Seriously! I need help. God has given me an errand that is far to great of a challenge even for a superhero. How much more difficult is it all for a shrew? But I do not need to be a superhero when I have God. As you have begun to see, God can do anything He wants. My errand (for you BTW) has been ordained to me by God, which means He will certainly see it through. But! Not without prayer.

As much as I want to see you or even to speak with you … Actually! It would be amazing just to receive from you that two letter word that you say better than anyone in the world, in lower case nonetheless! … or a 😊 emoji would be incredible too! But what good would it do me in the end? What I really need from you is your prayers. please

I have told you before, and I will tell you again and I mean this with all kindness, Bee … I cannot complete this errand unless your heart is with me. It does not matter if I ever see you again on this side of Heaven or if I do see you. Whether I see you or talk to you again is not going to make any difference at all, unless you are praying for me. If you pray for me, God will honor your request, and He will see me through. If you pray not, who am I?

  2. Dear Bee,

I am sorry that I have not made anymore updates to the star catalog. God is preparing me to head into the wilderness, so I just have not had the time to work on the catalog. I have been studying the beautiful messages that God has laid up in the heavens for you and I and all of mankind, but He has not afforded me anytime to round out the remaining stars that are mentioned in this epistle. Instead, God has been showing me the beauty of your heart and how your love for our Savior continues to grow. You are like a blossoming flower, a lily in the vale, a rose in the midst of the rolling green hills.

“… go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents.” – SoS 1:8

    Love Always,

    Dale 😊
